1980

AgroSpeCom was founded by Athanasios and Aikaterini Sotiroudas with the vision of high quality on offered services. AgroSpeCom is a member of the Greek PCOs union SEAME since 2000, participating in the management board for 15 years and holding the presidency for 6 years.

1999

We became the representatives of Insects Limited Inc for Greece, bringing top quality pheromones to the Greek market and two years later we organized together with the American firm the 5th International Conference of Fumigants & Pheromones in Thessaloniki.

2003

Our company was certified with ISO 9001 protocol and 4 years later with ISO 22000.

2008

Was very important AgroSpeCom, for 3 reasons:

1. We conducted the first Heat treatments in Greece, treating 3 flour mills.
2. We treated sesame and figs in nitrogen chambers, using Controlled Atmosphere
3. We became the first fumigation company to offer ISPM-15 treatments on pallets and wooden parts.

2011

We started Safe Foods Logistics a service for treating goods in CA chambers and keeping them safely stored in a clean room. AgroSpeCom became part of the Control Union group between 2015 and 2018.

2015

We founded Centaur, a smart sensor company that became a funded startup, offering novel services in the IoT environment. AgroSpeCom has constructed over 40 fumigation chambers in Greece, some of them small for lab or museum use and some large for the food industry

The Covid-19 years

We introduced the Room Fogger technology and App that contributed to the disinfection of more than 100,000 hotel rooms. AgroSpeCom has become the #1 fumigation company in Greece and among the top in the world for monitoring its fumigations in real time.

2023

We monitored more than 1500 fumigations in containers, silos and warehouses around Greece.
